Preplan
Knowing what your future wife or husband expects from a honeymoon is a good place to start. Whether it’s a surprise honeymoon or one they’ve dreamed of, make sure you two sit down and know what is expected.

The Destination
Picking the destination can either be the easiest or most difficult part of planning your honeymoon. Since you’ve already preplanned and know whether your partner wants a beach, snow, or adrenaline-pumping honeymoon, you now just need to pick a destination. Make sure you choose somewhere that is special to both of you, or an exciting place neither of you has been before.

Accommodation
Besides being super romantic, make sure whatever type of accommodation you book has some privacy - you don’t want to be right next to the reception area where you can hear everything going on outside. If you tell the staff that it’s your honeymoon you might be pleasantly surprised, as most places go out of their way to organize something special for newlyweds.
