Powered by emotion and curiosity, Ana uses photography as a way to meet, connect and tell the stories of different people. She is always searching to unravel the delicacy and beauty of small and important moments.

A native from Belo Horizonte in Brazil, Ana Junqueira received her first professional camera at the age of 16 when her father gave her one as a gift.  In 1996 she took a free photography course at the Guignard School in Minas Gerais, where she discovered a passion for photography.

After graduating in Social Communication from Pontifical Catholic University of Minas Gerais (PUC Minas), Ana worked for years with photographer Marcia Charnizon, learning photography as a form of poetic expression.  She used this experience to build her career.
