Four DIY Facials To Get That Wedding Glow
Like taking care of your dress, flowers, and hair for your big day, you also have to take care of your skin. Having a destination wedding can often mean a new climate that can lead to breakouts on your skin, dry patches and flaking. But no need to worry because with these everyday grocery store items you can create these four DIY facial masks at home or even in your hotel room.
Avocado Facial Mask
Containing loads of oils, mix a half an avocado with a quarter cup of honey to create a lush facial. This facial will not only taste good, but also cure dry, flaking skin. Leave on your skin for 10 minutes, before rinsing off with a cool cloth.
Coffee Facial Mask
We all enjoy a delicious cup of coffee in the morning to wake us up, so why not put it on your skin to wake up those dry cells and soften your skin? Mix two tablespoons of ground coffee to two tablespoons of cocoa, three tablespoons of milk, and one tablespoon of honey, and you’re good to go. Smooth onto your skin evenly, leave for 30 minutes, and then wash off with warm water.
Cucumber Facial Mask
For both oily and dry skin, cucumber is a versatile fruit. For dry skin mix four tablespoons of mashed cucumber with two tablespoons of sour cream, and apply onto your clean face for 20 minutes. Rinse throughly and then dry your face to see the amazing results.
Coconut Mask
Coconuts are not just great to eat and drink, but also good for your skin. Coconut oil is an excellent natural moisturiser that fixes dry skin and flakiness, and can be bought quite cheaply. Apply coconut oil to your skin before bed, and let it soak in overnight. In the morning your skin will be feeling soft and smooth.
